Wood cut for 1 of the cemetery column frames.
Start of the frame.
Starting to take shape.

1/4" plywood sides being added.

Testing the distance between columns.
Testing position of columns in front yard.
Cutting the triangle for the cemetery gate topper.
Cemetery gate topper test-fitted.
Lighting added inside the triangle box.
Pink styrofoam added to front faces and hanging lanterns test-fitted.
Template fixed to triangle using masking tape in preparating for cutting with the Dremel using a router attachment.
"Drury Lane Cemetery" cut out of the triangle.

Trim added around the triangle.
Fake bricks cut out of the styrofoam.
Lanterns test fitted again.
Gate being glued together in a quick & dirty jig.
Gates attached.
Another lighting test.
Wood filler added and sanded. Cracks are hand-detailed using a metal awe. This was about 6 hours worth of work!
Ready for painting!
All the cracks are filled in with black paint.
The bricks are painted red.
Grey paint applied.
Added plastic skull finials to the gate bars.
Base and top are painted white and grout lines are painted.
Adding weathering effects.
