Halloween 2009 - Haunted Pipe Organ (Animated)

We acquired this 1960's ElectroVoice electronic organ from our neighbor for $20. It had been in her crawl space for years and unfortunately wasn't functioning properly when it was put back together. We decided to turn it into a haunted pipe organ animatronic. When it is finished, the keys will move up and down by themselves as if a ghost is playing the organ. We will fashion fake pipes and dress it up to look like a pipe organ.

This is the electric organ before any modifications.		All of the keys and electronics sit on a drawer that slides out the back.
All of the electronics removed.	Here are all of the electronics. Some neat vacuum tubes here! One of them says "Made in the U.S.S.R." Keep in mind this unit was built in 1960.	Here you can see the chord section of the keys removed, along with all of the electronics underneath the keys. Each key as a metal shaft with a rubber "boot" on the end of it.
