Halloween 2009

2009 was a big year for us with lots of new things. We made our first computer-controlled servo prop when we upgraded our stirring cauldron witch. We built a toe-pincher coffin with animated lid. We built a large witch shack to protect the witch’s new-fangled electronics. We built a new cemetery gate with lighted lanterns and a lighted sign. We rebuilt the gravedigger’s arms and added a lantern. We converted a 2008 static prop to a new clown prop. We acquired a 1960 electronic organ and made a feeble but failed attempt to animate the keys and make the organ look like a small pipe organ. Halloween 2009 was huge for us because we probably had several hundred visitors and we had live actors that really added a lot of fun to the display.
